History Run #4: Mafia Rerun - Feat. Bo Shoemaker

Lets be honest, there's nothing better on TV than re-runs of your favorite show. This time, Bo Shoemaker is back with the History Run with the highest ratings, The Mafia Run!

This is an opportunity for YOU, not only if you missed it the last time, but also if you just can't get enough mafia history!

There will be four stops along the route, where Bo will share interesting facts about the mysterious history of the Mafia in Rochester. Participants should be able to keep a 12:00 min/mile pace and will be able to regroup at each history stop before continuing.

This run will be 4 miles long, beginning and ending at Joey's on Main Street. We will meet in the outdoor seating area ‘round back! Afterwards feel free to enjoy a beer and some food and continue talking about the Mafia, while maybe seeing a "history mystery" inside the bar itself!

The run will cost $5 and will be returned as a $10 gift card to Rochester Running Company.

Bo Shoemaker has a M.A. in History, a law degree from Syracuse University, and currently works as an Appellate Court Attorney at the NYS Supreme Court. He's also a breakfast blogger (www.xonuts.com) and is the 8:00 min/mile pacer at our Saturday group runs!
