Graveyard Downhill Mile
We are inspired by the Rochester Mile and the McMullen Mile and would love to give Rochester more opportunities to run your best mile. This will hopefully be the first in a series of fun, relaxed Thursday night races.

About the Event
We are inspired by the Rochester Mile and the McMullen Mile and would love to give Rochester more opportunities to run your best mile.
This will hopefully be the first in a series of fun, relaxed Thursday night races.
This is a fast downhill mile in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with very few turns.
The race day looks like this:
5PM- Pre-race party: vendors and packet pickup at Rochester Running Company.
6:15 PM- (Optional) 30 min running form clinic and informational session (don't expect much running, just drills or footwork drills)
7PM- 1 Mile Downhill Mile Race in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
7:30 PM- Post-race party: At Grappa- kick the keg with $2.50 beers, light snacks and food/other beverages available to order.
This is meant to be a low cost event but enjoying getting out with friends and seeing how fast you can run a mile or, if this is your first mile, to prove to yourself you can!
